  • Picking Blackberries.

For the last three weeks I have been picking blackberries. Anyone else picking yet or these early?

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

                      Green bullets round here.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Yup- picked my first around the 20th of July, which is just a bit crazy. Got a gallon of wine on the go too, and am thinking I should go do some jammin' too. The way it's going, they'll be my only glut this year!

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

I've picked a wild few, but mainly green here. Cultivated ones have been going strong for weeks (neighbours, not mine).
