Yup - growing grapes is a bit of an obsession, I now have 7 vines and am trying to work out where to grow them all!

And you can grow them up here as well, no photo, they are at the plot, and I am not!

Thanks veggiechicken, your grape vine looks bigger than mine.

Thinking of trying another vine or kiwi jennys at the other end of the tunnel.

Have a look at my warning posts about Kiwis http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ing_66036.html and this grape vine http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ml#post1028927 and http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ml#post1029092
before you plant them in your tunnel.

Maybe not the kiwi then but i already have a vine in the tunnel and its not massive like yours think it might be too cold for outside planting tho.

Thanks for the warning tho fancied putting a red grape at the other door of the poly which is always closed.

Its all a matter of pruning and keeping everything under control!
I'm hopeless at both - just a free spirit at heart

BTW, VC if you want me to drive a spade in, ala FB's root pruning suggestion - I can do it next time I'm passing, meant to mention it to you before. Unless of course, you've already done it?

Thanks Chris! I'm going to terminate it after the Kiwis are ripe, winter time. Its driving me bonkers and steals so much light from the house. Cut out most of the main stems and cut the others right down. If it survives, then I'll start again with the pruning......maybe
                      I really hate it!!!!
