  • Plum Tree caterpillar

Hi, I have a 3 year old 'Victoria fan trained plum tree, I noticed this morning that some of the leaves have small holes in them and are starting to curl, when I opened a leaf up there was a very tiny caterpillar inside, can anybody help with what this is and most importantly how to get rid of them.

    Thanks

What colour, and could you get a photo?
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
    Now a little Shrinking Violet.

Squish the caterpillars, I assume it's a small reachable tree so keep squishing.

They aren't the maggot of the plum moth. Those grow inside the developing plum eating it from the inside and leaving their frass behind! ! ! Cheers, Tony.

Hi, I can't open your photo to take a look. Nothing happens when I click on it and if I place the arrow [of the mouse] on it, the word default appears. Anyone technically minded here ?
