  • Coleus

Hi there...being very new to all this, I was advised to plant some Coleus seeds...which I did a couple of months ago, in my unheated greenhouse...

This is what they look like now!!! They seem to be very slow growing...Is this about normal ???

    Thanks

I think this might be my greenhouse ( very amateur) and other trivia blog page!!! Do feel free to drop in !

They look about ready to prick out which could make them put on a spurt. Seed compost does not have much in the way of nutrients in it so they may well do better on ordinary potting compost. Never grown them myself!

They do grow very slowly to start with. Also looks as if your compost is a bit too wet.

I have made two sowings of coleus and still no signs of life. They are for my tortoise although I quite like them as houseplants in my conservatory.
