It's probably not liking the changing climate (indoors and outdoors).
But as it's been pampered, it would be best to keep it indoors until late spring.

The Black Hamburg up the sheltered, warm, sunny South side of my house is still in hibernation, but it does not need any winter protection.

A picture might be helpful to be sure of the problem, although other warm-climate plants such as pears can also suffer dead/blackened leaves and shoots if they are chilled while leafing-out.

Frost got my grapevines young foliage last year..................

It did recuperate and send out new foliage later on though................

I've got the same grapevine. Two years ago a late frost got all the leaves touching the glass in my greenhouse and the baby grapes as well. However it did survive but only a few grapes. Last year at the first hint of frost after the buds had burst out came the bubble wrap - I'd pruned it back so it wasn't too difficult to mummify it. The grapes were absolutely amazing. I left 16 bunches on.
