  • Milverton New Allotments Association Limited

I am desperately trying to find some information on this particular 'company'. I was directed to them as I was told they have smallholdings where I can grow produce for resale but I can not seem to get hold of any one for further information like fee's or waiting list.

I have been given a phone number which doesn't seem to get answered, and I have only once received an email but with no information in it.

Does anyone know if they have an up-to-date website, FB page, Twitter account... Or perhaps you have a site/allotment/smallholding with them... anything?

I don't know of them, but you can't grow for profit on an allotment ...

I googled them and got a postal address:

      8 Campion Terrace
      Leamington Spa
      CV32 4SX
      West Midlands

      Which you've probably already done

These have smallholdings, which is a site you can grow produce on for resale and keep livestock.

Yep, I have their address and phone number but I currently live in Lincoln.

Seems I was a little impatient, as they have replied to me now all be it with bad news.

My search for a small piece of land continues! Thank you every one.

Well, share. What was the news? Do they have land or not?

Sorry - They appear to be allotments that allow animals, but as with all allotments anything grown on there can not be sold (which I knew and which was why I was asking them as I was told they were 'smallholders'.)

They have no free plots and a small waiting list.

If land is important, but selling the veg isn't, you should come to Grimsby to have a look at the allotments here. There are quite a few allotments that have spare plots

I am moving to Warwick, Grimsby will be to far away. But thank you.

Also, I do not want to grow and sell veg for my business, I want to grow and sell plug plants of veg, fruit, flowers and plants.

I want an allotment (as well) to grow veg for my own consumption.

You don't need a whole lot of land to get started in that. Seedlings are small and grow quickly in the spring & summer months, you could pack a lot into a 10 x 8 greenhouse

I realise that, but I also want to grow for myself, veg and herbs. I was just hoping I could have an allotment for myself, but also sell plug plants.

Looks like I will have to look into it all again now.

                              Thank you every one.
