  • airtight biscuits?

I am adding homemade biscuits to my Christmas pressie hampers (contents so far are 2 bottles of wine, sloe gin, chutney, jam, pickles and chocs), but don't know how to wrap them so they are airtight. My pressies will have to be delivered this week and prob not eaten on Christmas day and would hate people to open them and they were soft.

    Any thoughts on wrapping?

    Thanks

I use cellophane bags with twist ties which I get off eBay; they're decorated with various Christmassy type pictures. I noticed that my local kitchenalia/cake decorating supply shop had similar ones in stock the other day too, so might be worth a look in town if you have time? I've not done biscuits in them, but rice cake and mince pies seem to keep quite nicely in them

Thanks, I'd not thought of those - I can put some extra twirled ribbon round the ties
