  • roasting cherry toms

Came home from hols to a glut of fruits on my "Strawberry" toms. Also having to use up shallots that are developing neck rot and not likely to store so presently have a batch of chopped shallots and toms in the oven. Sprinkled with sea salt and garlic infused olive oil. Will be left till the skins start to char and then I'm going to pig out dipping in fresh bread and making a mess of my chin. I know, I'm a big kid but it's what growing your own is all about to me. Enjoying it in season and missing it when it's not.

The house smells of garlic at the mo so summats happening!

Just finished eating two plate fulls and my mouth is on fire. Maybe I shouldn't have added half a dozen jalapeno's!
Cucumbers were a failure but you live and learn.

Would have been better with some mushrooms added........maybe next time!

This sounds delicious and not at all childish - food is for feeling and eating. Hope you use fingers!
