  • wild flowers in vases???

Any tips as what to add to the water - or tricks of the trade to stop picked 'wild flowers' from wilting as soon as they go into a vase????

    24 - 48 hrs plus I'm hoping for ( for a wedding weekend)

    Any suggestions appreciated!
    Thanks

I did read that aspirin in the water helps. I really haven't tried it though. Flower arrangers 'condition' plants before use - plunge them into very deep water overnight before arranging.

    Hope it all goes well!

A little sugar may help or flat lemonade.

OK- thanks- I'll pass on those ideas....plenty of time to play around and see which works best with which flowers!

...any more suggestions would be most welcome!
