  • White Ivory cardoon plants - got loads to spare

Not seeds I know but they once were Not sure where else to put this

I've got about 30 plants and can't fit them all in. Related to globe artichoke but the flower heads aren't edible - at least I think not. Apparently you can eat the new shoots like asparagus, but you read that a lot - I'll be just using them as pretties and for the bees.

Not really feasible to post them but anyone who's in striking distance of Sydenham SE26 is welcome to collect

I just wish I werfe within strikuiniig distance of Sydenham - sadly not!

I have a feeling that you can cook the stems and eat them rather than the flower heads of globe artichokes - might be worth 'googling' for a recipe.

Mary (Cornwall's a bit far to come to fetch them!!)
