  • growing in a polytunnel

I plan to grow tomatoes, peppers, chillies and cucumbers. Anyone know if I will need to attract polinators? Will they find their own way in or will I have to hand pollinate

Tomatoes and Peppers / Chillies are self pollinating. It helps to tap the Tomato plants to dislodge the pollen, and the Peppers / Chillies will benefit from pollinating with a small paint brush if you can be bothered - I rarely bother.

Greenhouse cucumbers will be bitter if pollinated, so you may have an all-female F1 variety, if not you need to take the male flowers off (but if they are an outdoor "Ridge" cucumber they do need to be pollinated otherwise they won't set fruit)
