  • Took the plunge!

OK, today I took the plunge and called the secretary for our local allotments (there are five in and around the village) and she put me on to the chap who oversees my nearest. A quick phone call and my name is on the waiting list along with, drumroll please.......... just 2 others There is a very good chance I may have my very own lottie just 200yds from my front door this spring.
The only downside, depending on your outlook, Hubby has said he will leave home if I do get one so I just won't tell him yet

Congrats! But why will he leave home?

That's ok - you'll be so busy at your lottie you won't even notice will you?

Congrats by the way. Mr Z kept saying when I put my name doen 'it's too much work, yada yada, whinge whine moan' and now he loves it.

Well done with the lottie waiting list...and you get an added bonus too - it's win win as far as I can see!

Congratulations Suky, I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of it. Will he notice if you disappear for a few hours each week? He needn't know.
We all have our secrets, I am sure he has his too!

Luckily I work part time so he won't notice for a while at least and I know most of his secrets, even the ones he thinks I don't

We've empty plots at the site in our village, but I guess West Cumbria (near to Cockermouth) might be a bit far - but the views are outstanding!
If I had to travel that far he really would miss me I would love views like that but it would be a bit of a commute
