Hi and welcome to the vine.
You are indeed too late for elderflowers, the berries are green just now (here anyway) but watch for them turning black and they make a lovely wine.Happy Gardening,

I have read they can give you bellyache but I have recipes for using them in jams, pies and of course, wine
