    Snowdrops and Bluebells from Eurobulbs

    Yesterday morning Ian the Postie delivers the mail- just letters, 5 min later Ian the Postie rings the bell "forgot this" he says. What you got this time? handing over small box. I look at post mark, Oh goodie snow drops and blue bells. How many says Ian, 100 each Says me. You'll have to plant them before you leave for Cardiff on friday comments Granny Dragon. Ian looks up at the Persisting Rain "Enjoy"
    Open box, contents are 100 single snowdrops and 100 double snowdrops!
    Can't find receipt I printed out, so phone Eurobulbs. After checking lady says "Oh bugger your right it should have been bluebells not double snowdrops
    I'll get the bluebells off today" They dont want the double snowdrops back either. Aint they nice people! Will use them again
    It's not the growing old I mind but the growing stupid with it!

    Lucky you - enjoy them.

    I don't have one snowdrop in my garden despite planting many. I guess they just don't like it here.

        It's great to see good customer service, isn't it? I had a very similar experience with Dobies. They sent me an order of a mushroom kit and garlic twice by error and when I told them they said that I could keep them with their compliments. They also sent my some shallots griselle back in October and they turned out to be a crop failure. They sent me a letter telling me this and they offered me another variety for free. I have used them before and I will certainly keep using them

          It's nice to hear of helpful suppliers but I always feel that with the prices they charge they can afford to give away the odd few bulbs/plants etc. Can't say I've ever had any problems when complaining about poor quality plants or wrong deliveries though, most places seem to be keen to keep your custom. I've had replacements for damage etc. from Thompson & Morgan a few times & find they are usually very helpful.

            Hello Shirlthegirl, have you been planting snowdrop bulbs from packets. They are not always successful. You're likely to be much more successful if you plant them in the green. Plenty around now. Or do you have squirrels who dig them up.

                No squirrels that I have seen. Just no flipping success. Mind you - I bought loads of bulbs for snowdrops and daffs last year then promptly lost those so there wasn't much chance ofthem growing

                Will ask where I keep my ponies if I can dig up a few clumps of their snowdrops and give it another go coz they are so pretty.

                  Mice will also eat crocus bulbs, but not Snowdrops which are poisonous.
                  These are some of our Snowdrops, in the snow too!

                    You are saying about good customer service now Im going to amaze you all a certain very large supermarket (clue t...o!) was supposed to deliver my friends shopping on the day we had all the snow the other week phone her and explained they couldnt and asked her to book another slot a few days latter e-mailed her to say sorry and tell her they were refunding her entire shop so £180 shopping for free

                      Try planting "in the green" - find someone who has snowdrops, lift a clump just after they've finished flowering and stick them straight into your garden. Dry bulbs from shops or garden centres don't do so well
