  • Not remotely gardening related - sorry!

My car insurance is up for renewal soon and I've felt the need to shop around this year. The cheapest I've found so far online is with swiftcover.com - saw an advert on the telly. Anyone ever heard of them or had dealings with them, good or bad?

I know cheapest isn't always best so any experiences shared would be much appreciated.

I'm a member of the RAC and I can't get an online quote from them, what's that all about? Might go with the AA in the end, they are 2nd cheapest so far..

Lorna have you tried Tesco? They claim to be cheaper than any one else.

If a person is over 50 then Saga seem to beat all the others hands down on most types of insurance.

        How old?

How old is you car? I went through Lancasters and because my car is 10 years old it can be covered by classic car insurance! My insurance went from £450 to £280 a year - big difference.

My age is "the answer", the car is two. Thanks for your suggestions, I'll give them a try!
