  • A modest harvest

This is from my small garden:

The aubergines are F1 Babybelle. They were quickly turned into a yummy Moussaka for the whole family.

The Kohlrabi was eaten very quickly raw by my 1 year old. Papa and Mama were allowed a little nibble and it was very tasty. I'll have to try and protect my Kohlrabi seedlings next year better from the evil snails.

Said snails also ate nearly all my Kelvedon Peas. The one that then survived the ambush of teenagers stealing the bamboo canes is now overgrown by nusturtiums, hence only the little harvest, but they were oh so tasty! The little one didn't like them though. hehe

Well done. A good start. Onwards and upwards eh? Your toms (other thread) look like being a success too!

Good looking aubergines Tiachica. Well done.
I tried Baby Belle for a couple of years and got nothing. This year I grew Viserba and got whoppers.

Did you grow the Aubergines in a poly tunnel? You have done far better than me.
