Hi! Please look at my 'brilliant' site about dolls houses and miniatures! I can always use new members, not matter how much you visit or not! Also, the more members I get the more things I can put on, so go on, do me a favor and at least look!

You are so welcome, Soobeth. I'm sure everyone will keep you in mind when we see what germinates in the spring. I always have cherries, in several varieties, and they will be coming your way.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Soobeth, have you tried planting acorns, conkers and sycamore seeds? They all grow really easily, and any tree or shrub can be given the bonsai treatment.

I even did it to some cabbage seedlings this year which I left behind the greenhouse and forgot - they were alive and growing, but very small cos they were totally pot-bound

If you haven't got already Soobeth, I can give you ash, alder, rowan, birch (probably silver birch, but you never know for sure with birch never can read the writing on the packet) and hopefully larch. I had a friend who once had a bonzai larch. Some trees look a wee bit silly with big leaves and tiny trunk and branches (horse chestnut wouldn't be good I don't think, leaves are up to 40 cm long )...but just a normal larch tree kept in a tiny pot on the windowsill, turned out really well. I had a tiny conifer that was really nice as a minature Xmas tree too, one year.
The only thing is, I don't know how to PM you. Is there a button here somewhere ? Or would you like to email me with your snail mail address ?

Snohare I have removed your email address for your safety.

Thanks LJ ! I know it's a bit dodgy giving out email addresses on forums, I was hoping that the moderator would know whether my modification was sufficient to protect me here !
One of these days I will get around to learning all this technobabble...

Snohare the forum can be read by anyone from around the world not just members that is why I removed your email address.

Your profile however can only be viewed by the members of the forum which is where you email address is. So only members can send you an email.
