  • Desperately seeking a plot!

    Hello all,

I'm searching for a plot in the Warrington area!!

Apparently it could take at least two years before one becomes avalible and they won't tell me how far down the list I am but I get the impression its a very long list.

Is this a common problem or is it just warrington??

    Hi Elmo,

I know its a bit far away, but there are some plots near Partington that have space. I noticed them last time I was up that way. They have a website if it's any use. Not sure of the URL though

          OK Elmo,

You'll have to let me know if you get one there, then the next time I'm up that way (large gas site nearby ) I'll nip round and see you.

There was talk of me having to go up there fairly regular at one time and I thought about applying for a plot there so I could nip over at dinner for an hour, but I don't think the locals would be to happy about having some one from Warwickshire using their plots

Yep, unfortunately everywhere is full, the nearest site to me is woolston but its run by the parish council so woolston residents get priority even if they haven't been on the list as long as me .

                hi elmo
had the same problem with my local plots, in the end i think they just got fed up with us sending notes about untidy or abandoned plots asking questions about availability and phoning the secretary at least once a week for updates. the original waiting list was 18 months we got a plot in 3, persistance is the key

                all the best
