Yippee, my 50 cent zuchini plants now have 2 flowers on each - i think they are male flowers as they have a long stem rather than a bud

    What do i do next?

i am so excited - can you tell?

Actually, zucchini is Italian for courgette, the americans nicked it...

You don't have to do anything to it, just wait till they grow enought to pick and eat
You can see the baby courgettes growing already

If you have no female flowers you may as well take the male flowers off to eat them. There will be plenty more when the females arrive

That's a good idea Terrier! When in Rome we saw lots of courgette flowers for sale in the market.

Courgette flowers are lovely deep fried in batter, not necessarily healthy but VERY tasty.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
