I have just put 5 cloves in a pot and chucked some compost on.

I have labelled it, but i have a feeling it will be lurking in my greenhouse for some time till it does anything.

Do i need to do anything else? I am hoping to get some raised beds made over this summer so when they are ready should i just uproot what i have just planted? or should i leave them in the tub to get on with it?

    Thanks in advance

    Tracy

Hi Taskey, you might be a little late for spring planting now, you could try putting it in the coldest part of the fridge for a week or so then plant it straight out into the ground to make it think it's earlier in the year. If you don't try, you'll never know
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

I've read that it needs a long period of below 5 degrees to break into cloves as it matures
