    hi Everyone.
    Quick question.
    Can you eat the flowers from Pumpkin/squash plants?

    I know you can eat the flowers from marrow/courgettes and a few other plants but not sure about these

    According to the above site: yes! they are so similar to courgette flowers it seemed unlikely that this wouldn't be the case, but it's always nice to have it there in black and white.

        Yes. You can simply batter and fry them or just dip in flour and fry but this is my favourite Italian recipe which maked a special starter;
        Pick in the morning when the flowers are wide open with a good length of stalk attached.
        Stuff each flower with a good dollop of cream cheese which has had some garlic, Oregano, black pepper and Parmesan mashed into it.

        Twist the top of each flower to make a seal.
        Dip in a batter made by mixing flour , egg and a little milk. Dredge in flour and fry.
        Two per person on a bed of mixed leaves to serve.
