  • Hot chilli pepper help

    Hi,
I'm growing hot peppers for the first time- chilli pyramid. They have got about 4 leaves on each but seem to be growing very slowly. They are a dwarf variety only growing 15" high. I would appreciate any tips or hints.

    Thanks

They do grow quite slowly Slower than tomato plants anyway.
Just keep checking for roots at the bottom of the pot, when you see them pot the plants on into the next size pot. They'll get there eventually, given constant warmth and just enough watering.

Chillis are infuriatingly slow at first! Don't worry, once they get going you'll be inundated with lots of lovely pods.

I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

They like hot temps. They'll be slow now, but take off next month - be patient

Thanks everyone - I will be patient and make sure they are in the sun more.
