  • At last!

Well at last, the first thing to go into my allotment was today. 10 each of arran, swift and javelin. Feel like I have a proper allotment, spent so much time just clearing and digging

It's brill feeling planting your first veg isnt it? Ive only been growing veg for 3 years, but Im still learning. My biggest thrill is still digging up my own tatties! Enjoy!

Thanks all, I've always grown veg at home in my garden, but not enough space to grow veg (on the scale I want to) along with all my herbs and flowers, decking, and space for the kids, even though I have a decent size garden lol

Well done! As a child I loved digging up potatoes with my parents - it's like finding buried treasure and my pleasure has not diminished over the years. It's still the same - in 3 months time it will be so exciting!

Good job done! I also got my first planting of the year done today (on the lottie - already put a bit in at the home garden). Also spuds - and a few broad beans from modules. It's a real feeling of the season starting isn't it?
