    Community Allotment advice?

    Hi folks,

    I hope I've posted this is the right area .

    I am looking at starting a Community Allotment plot via work however I've got a few questions I'm hoping fellow allotmenteers would be able to help with.

    Firstly, is anyone aware of any community grants that maybe available for a Community Allotment project? I'm under the impression any funding that maybe around from April 09?

    Does anyone else run a Community Allotment Project? What problems did you face? Anys pearls of wisdom?

    I'm hoping to get the local Allotment Association on side for this project but it's currently at research stage.

          One thing you need to be very strong on at the start is how are you going to devide up the produce. Because you will find at harvest time, you will have loads of people with their hands out that have not been involved in the growing of it.
