  • Which Dwarf Peas/Beans for Planter?

I bought 4 of the Homebase £2.98 planters at the weekend and would like to grow some dwarf peas and beans in them.

Can you suggest a few varitieties that may be suitable.

I can recommend RB Hestia as well. Have been growing it for the past 3 years in containers and it seems to do really well.

I grew a yellow wax French bean Sonesta in containers. Did very well. RHS Award of Merit for taste.

Any dwarf french bean will do ok in a pot. There's a pea called Half Pint which is specialy bred for pot growing. Can't fault Hestia as a runner either. Good luck with them.
