    Sunningdale Allotments

    This was posted on another gardening forum [yes, there are others].

    In case anyone finds it an interesting/useful read.

    Thanks for sharing. I was interested in the Dig for Victory leaflets issued free by the council even in 1951, 6 years after WWII. I don't think such leaflets are available now. They include not just veg growing advice but also how to make jams, preserves and chutneys. I would think they are just as useful and relevant today as they were back then. But then times have changed and food is not short any more.

                Alot have been scanned in by people...try googling 'dig for victory' and have a click around. That's how I found the planting plan. If I find anymore I'll post them here.
