Hi folks,
reality has finally hit me that if I want to have fresh veggies this year I need to get my skates on
so I'm on the mission to sort out my raised beds (that I'm building myself-shock, horror!!!).
I was wondering if others have any hints and tips on building/filling raised beds? How do I figure out how much top soil I will need? Is their a formula I can follow based on the size of the bed? How deep do the beds need to be?
I'm considering three beds. One for salad and herbs, one for general veggies including carrots and another one for spuds-although I am considering growing spuds in containers
too
If there's any good websites with 'how to build' guides on please let me know so I stop chewing eveyones ears off
