  • Professional polytunnel erectors?

We bought a small polytunnel a year ago now and its still in packaging in the living room - I'd like to find a couple of men to put it up for us in March. Has anyone else got people in to put a tunnel up?
I'm on Beds/Bucks border, I might try flatpack assembly or handyman businesses

Hi I too had a complex tunnel sitting there (with no instructions)
But It took a few friends and a couple of BBQ’s and the old girl went up, Perhaps you may have a technically minded friend? My friends and I just gave it a go (one caveat to that is I did pay some people to dig the holes for the base tubes which had cement around them)

    Hope it works out

The tunnel frame is usually fairly starightforward but you might want assistance putting on the cover - make sure you choose a warmish, still day - if you put it on a cold day, when the wether warms up so will the cover and it will stretch and you might end up witha floppy cover that needs to be re-tightened.

Mushroom, if you really want to get some in to put it up (& I wouldn't blame you, waiting for my OH to get on with something drives me bananas...), try looking for a local polytunnel supplier. They sometimes do put them up as well, and might be prepared to hire their men out. If not, they might be able to point you in the direction of someone who can do it?
