  • Missing Cat

Our lovely old cat chocolate has been missing since yesterday afternoon, no one has seen him and we have searched around to no avail. He is getting on a bit about 14 years old and not in the best of health. If he has gone to the great cat sky we will miss him dearly as we have had him since he was 9 months old.

Sorry to hear that Jackie J, hope the old fella is just asleep in someone's shed. My old Mog is a Siamese, if she was locked in anywhere you'd here her for half a mile in any direction not that she goes out much this time of the year.

Try not to worry, I'm sure we'll all keep our fingers crossed. BTW Chocolate is a great name for a Cat.

Hope you find him Jackie, you never know he might just have sneaked off for a free dinner at someone else's house. Good luck!

He doesnt go far these days and usually comes in for food but no sign of him, we have been expecting this to happen and he has been missing but if we call he comes in but not this time. He is a black and white cat rescued from blue cross at about 9 months old and was called fred but we didnt like the name and as our other cat at the time was a brindled torishell called toffee we thought chocolate sounded good.

Hope he comes back soon jackie j. Wehave a black and white cat called Badger. When he stays out all night he's usually camped out at the riding stables down the road. Comes home smelling of horses.

He is still missing and as he isnt well, lost weight etc its very worrying he has never gone missing for this long before, I cant sleep wondering if he is suffering somewhere, I will go looking a bit further a field later when its light and ask a few more neighbours. As he is not a wanderer he wont have gone far.

Any news? It's a horrible feeling when your cat goes missing, I've been through it twice, and unfortunately it was the railway that was to blame. I hope your Chocolate is ok and comes home soon to give you a huge cuddly purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

He doesnt have a very loud meow so we cant hear him and yes he is still missing not like him at all. I am knocking on doors this morning and putting a note in letterbox if no one at home. OH said this morning that next doors shed was open and thats one place I didnt go as the lady lives alone and is ill. Have rung her but she is still in bed, looked through her shed window but cant see anything.

Oh dear, fingers crossed for you. One of mine went missing, she had been taken in by a neighbour - I'd put leaflets around but I don't think she could read. We got the cat back when she called the RSPCA because the cat was ill, and they found the note. She was very poorly, but I'm so glad I got her back, even if it was only for a little while.

Hope you see Chocolate really soon.

Hope he turns up Jackie. Our childhood cat was a real homebody, but as she got older, she would wander off - only occasionally - and be gone for a couple of nights then come home again. We worried because it wasn't like her but cats are so good at finding somewhere to be comfortable.

A friend's cat did the same thing as he got older. Is it a regular cat thing I wonder?

Still no sign. I have rung two local vets and the RSPCA only thing to do is wait and see and keep looking.
                              Thanks for your support.
