    if you like bounty

    you'll like these, really easy great to make with the kids

    COCONUT BALLS
    dessicated coconut
    Condensed milk
    chocolate

    Mix the coconut and condensed milk you want to be able to mould balls but not too wet otherwise they fall apart when you dip in chocolate, its handy to have a bowl of hot water to dip your hands in when making the balls, as it can be a bit sticky, the kis love this bit

    Put in the fridge to chill for at least an hour.

    Melt the chocolate

    drop ball in cover in chocolate, lift out onto greaseproof paper till chocolate sets, then enjoy!

      OOOOH yes, I do like bounty and I am positive I WILL like these
      I have to go out to the scoop shop in the next couple of days to get some supplies so I can pick up some coconut.

      It sounds like you could put them in a pretty box and give them as a Christmas prezzie.

                never tried rancid wood shavings, but if it tastes like coconut I will have to find a supplier

                    They sound gorgeous. DH cannot stand coconut (except in curry...) so I'd have to eat the lot. Sigh.

                      now that sounds like a good investement for the taste buds,my daughter inlaw also loves coconut,think i will roll in it after the chocolate as well,then those that eye up the chocies will be sure to leave them alone if not liking coconut mmm.

                          What kind of choc to use? Plain or milk?

                          Looks like my son will be taking box with 4 pressies for teacher - oaty cookies, rum truffles, bounty balls and homemade jam!
