  • Spud flowers?

Please can someone tell me what is growing on the flowers of my spuds
They are in large containers and the stems are as thick as a hand spade shaft, the flowers have been fully opened for a few weeks now and they smelled lovely!! but they have what looks like small tomatos growing of the ends? Am not techincal(can't even spell it!) to do pictures am lucky enough to log in every day!
    Thanks for any advice given

    Hi Muddy

I asked this the other day too, check this thread out. They're like seed pods. Pull them off.

As Shortie says they're the seeds. They look similar to tomatoes as they're the same family. Cut them off, otherwise the plant will put effort into them instead of the spuds you want.
