    Has anyone tried this recipe from the current magazine - it's fantastic. The avocado sorbet is worth making in it's own right but goes so well with the chilled soup. You'd pay a lot of money for a dish like that in a high class restaurant round here that i'm thinking of. Long live Mr. Fothergills baby beetroot seeds.
    Sideline - I was wanting to do a traditional sunday pork roast (38 degrees? - him at home says I'm crackers - but he ate it with gusto ) - anyway, I love simply deep fried courgette flowers as they are crisp and delicate if well drained off, so tried stuffing them this time with good old sage and onion stuffing, then dipped quickly into a sour bread starter that is bubbling away on the work top. One of my successes without too much trouble. If anyone wants the sour dough recipe the web site I am using is :
