  • Leaves to eat?

I've got a brassica bed with sprouts, calabrese, broccoli and cauliflower. These are all very leafy at the moment. Can I remove some of the lower leaves to eat before they are mature?

As far as I know Tracey you can eat them all. My Father in law always ate the cauliflower leaves. It's just a question of do you like them. And you can eat the little "cabbages" the sprouts make at the top.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

The outer/lower leaves are a bit tough. But yeah, you can eat them. Not too many, the plant needs them to grow big and strong.
