    Cucumber and Chips

    I am about to be the proud father of 20 plus cucumber fruits which I can't wait to get my teeth into. However, once I've had salmon and cucumber sandwiches for lunch and cucumber in my salad at tea time, I'm at a loss what to do with the rest. Does anyone have any good cucumber receipes (other than cucumber and chips)?

    yes tsatsiki- a greek dish. Cold cucumber, garlic all diced up fine and mixed with greek yoghurt seasoned, with dry toast or hot buttered french bread. As a side addition to salad. a cool starter. then theres cucumber soup, pickle, cucumber thinly sliced in marmite sarnies. I'll do a bit more research. Cucumber in vinegrette with a good pinch of dill.

      There are quite alot of recipes involving cucumber at www.uktvfood.co.uk just put cucumber into the recipe search.

        Wow.... 20 plants!!! I had 2 plants last year and struggled to get through the crop (mind you.... nobody wanted to eat them with me so I was chomping through them on my own!!)
