Perhaps eventually we become fruits or vegetables, then get harvested and have to start again !

Seriously many thanks to all of you who post so regularly - its thanks to all your responses and advice that keeps the vine so full of interesting facts and makes it so addictive.

A rude carrot... you mean like a humorously shaped one?

                          Rude Carrots

My daughter has a book all about rude carrots who show off and continually take the p*** out of their neighbours, the rabbits, who get fed up and trash the carrots and all the other veg in a big fight - and apparently, that's why you never hear veggies talk any more So maybe a rude carrot isn't the best thing to be - beware six foot rabbits called Harv!

Rat, that does make me chuckle....

My boy has a book of nursery rhymes with 3 blind mice in it. Now, they've decided children are too delicate to hear about cutting off their tails with carving knives so they've changed the words (I still sing him the old one though, oops)... but it's okay to advocate punch-ups in the garden?

I'm imagining a veg vs rabbit brawl now
