  • Storing potatoes

Have potatoes that can be stored and planted at the end of july, but what is the best way to store them till then, advised to put in fridge but will they last that long?

You could store them for a few weeks in the fridge Maxine & then take them out & start chitting them until they are ready to be planted out.
Into every life a little rain must fall.

If you put them in the fridge do you keep them in darkness(all the time, not just when door shut or just out in the open??????

Glad you asked that. I've got more seed potatoes than I've got room and was wondering whether they'd keep. What's the latest date they can be planted? Presumably they'll need to be protected when the winter sets in?
