Oh dear... looks like a trip down to the shops for me to buy shed loads of ribena for the freebie... How did I miss that one?

I'll take a look at the offer and suspect I will take it up. Do you have to buy a certain size, or so many tokens? Is it free (except P&P or do you pay a certain amount for the cutting too?

we got our token (you only need one i think) from a big ribena squash bottle thing, you know the funny shaped ones? but my friend got a token from a small bottle of ready made ribena the other day (the little ones you buy from the fridges in shops and dont have to mix with water). you just put your name and address and the token inside an envelope (no P&P from what ive read) and they send you a cutting, we havent sent ours off yet so i dont know how big it is or even what to do with it once i get it

          Woo Hoo

Shine, bought 2 bottles today and surprise, surprise I won a ribena cutting on each. Think it's the frist time I've genuinely not wanted to win the car or tickets to VFestival

It looks like it's just the price of a stamp and envelope (they don't ask for P&P to be sent) so why not? One to mine, one to my Mums... can I think of anyone else to get one sent to?

I got a winning straw on the ribena cartons a few weeks ago and sent of for my cutting which arrived this week.

Its basically a stick with some buds on it, I'm not very good with measurements but I'd say its around ooo hold on a second....

Here you go I've taken a photo of it for yall Its about 15 cm long and looks like....

Just for those that want to know in advance you plant the cutting in the ground leaving about 1 inch above the surface. You don't need any rooting compounds or anything like that. After a few months buds of your cutting should start to grow.....after a year the cutting should grow about a foot in height.....left to grow in the second year you can expect some fruit.

Its a bit of a wait but its free fruit. I'm looking forward to planting mine on the allotment and for my DD to watch it grow.

I really wanted one of these but when I went to get some Ribena the big bottle was £1 cheaper than the smaller one as it was on offer and the big ones didn't have the competition on I couldn't resist the big bottle as it was so cheap but maybe wish I had done now...

Strepsy I think they also do them on the smaller pre-mixed refridgerated bottles too (you know the size you get in Petrol stations and corner shops)

Yay, thanks Shortie - just got two cartons from the local shop and won with both. Do you know if you can send two off or will I need to send one to my mum's or something? Actually should probably have a proper read of the carton.

Ok think I have found my answer so for anyone else who might want to know. 'Only one application per stamped envelope'. So I need to package them seperately and send them off.
