I bought some gigantic beans on ebay and had my payment returned because Royal Mail are not taking overseas deliveries. I didn't even realise they were coming from abroad.

      It’s annoying when that happens.

I have no runner bean seeds but plenty of everything else. It's interesting to see that there's an upsurge in growing your own!

I was at Wilko on Saturday for cat food (and they had compost, hurrah). As I came out a couple were looking in the window at the seed stand. "Look, they have seeds! We could grow something!".

In an uncertain world growing things and caring for plants is a positive thing to do.

If you are happy with common varieties, a few of the diy stores offer delivery and/or click and collect on seeds. B&Q, Wilko, Homebase - all still seem to have veg seeds in stock.

Most of the supermarkets sell seeds too - I know Morrisons and Asda do.

B&Q is click and collect, but only has products they deem essential, ie none of the gardening things are actually available, though they look like they are at first glance.

Given the issues with online - sites closing etc, I'd be trying to buy seeds that are right in front of me in a shop if I could.

Pretty short on spring onion seeds here.
Garden centres closed and we are on lockdown so not good.

I just visited Sutton's website because I wanted information about one of their seeds - I was 400th person in the queue before I could even look at it. Didn't want to buy the things!!
I'm finding this a bit frustrating - search Goggle for a seed variety, gives you a link to a website - but you have to join a queue to look at it.
Its nice to browse sites, compare prices and quantities but, because they're not selling, you can't browse. Why can't they leave the website up but not accept orders?

Fortunately, I have more than enough seeds but I feel for those who don't and would really like to buy.

Hi, I have a fair few Spring onion seed packs. Would you like me to send you a pack?
