Just wondering about using heating mat in place of my soil warming cables.
Any one used the heating mats and what do you think about them.

The heat mats are not waterproof, like the cables, I don't think you could have them in wet sand for example if that's how you use themLast edited by Urban; 28-03-2020, 08:13 PM. -
Thanks for that. Lost a lot of plants that normally come no bother. The cables seam to have lost a lot of there heat ??

Do you have a thermostat attached? If so, could be a problem with that. If that is the problem, good luck with finding a replacement stat, I had an awful job when I last replaced mine.Originally posted by goosander View PostComment

Also been told that the weather has been far to hot at times. Have to hide the empty seed packets otherwise the O/H will be complaining about the cost.Comment
