    Breaking news

    Nicola Sturgeon saying Schools will close from Friday, and Wales will be changing the school purpose from Friday to childcare for essential workers. Welsh Government will give statement later today.

      This is when our worries start 4 children with all parents working and how do you keep them in the house, very trying times, I wonder if life will return to what in my opinion it should be, which is a parent at home till the youngest reaches 14 and before anyone thinks I am unreasonable I lived through my mother having to go out to work and know what it was like when no-one is there, I still remember it and it was over sixty odd years ago
      it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

        Rary, you can't do everything for your family. Priority is Mrs rary and you.
        Maybe the parents can work out a rota between them?

          Thanks for that consideration VC but one's self employed and two on temporary contracts so very limited in options, as for OH she has been told not to leave the house, and if she follows that it means there is light at the end of the tunnel, as it will be the first time she has listened to me

            Some schools around here won't stay open for kids that have only one parent that is a key worker. They'll only stay open for families with two parents that are.
            That means we now have midwives who can't go to work. How's that for co-operation eh?
