  • Uploading pics?

I painted my eglu door pegs yellow - basically to stop losing them and discovered it very useful for determining if the door is pegged open or shut from the kitchen window. Sadly I don't (or didn't) have the option to upload a photo - is this a permissions thing?

You need to make a few more posts before you can post images - maybe 5 or so?
    Have you Introduced yourself Yet?

It's ridiculous that people aren't told the rules about this when they join.

The magazine introduced the rule and the software to back it up to stop unscrupulous posting of offensive material, it did happen in the past. Moderators were finding stuff inappropriate for a family garden forum, so the safe guard exists. Genuine gardeners can soon acquire the amount of posts needed by telling us a bit about their garden and plans.

I think you need ten posts before you can post pictures, edit your profile etc. Have to take some pictures as well!

Yep. Completely understand why the rules are there.

Don't understand why it isn't made clear when people join.

Probably because the scammers would post some innocuous posts (as they do now) until they were able to post their images, ads, links, vids, if they knew there was a cut-off point.
