Yesterday picked Sioux lettuce, today spring onions..........but the onions were only picked because we were re-building the raised bed. They were big enough to eat though - just!

Does stuff sown last year but still cropping count?
Because I've still got beetroot, leeks, carrots, burdock and spring onions in the ground, ready to pick whenever.

Its good if its the first beet you've picked from your sowing - the one you look forward to..........but it doesn't really matter. Its for you to post as you wish. Its not a competition.

I like to look back over the years and see when I picked my first tomato or strawberry each year. Gives me something to look forward to!
