  • Lemon thyme has died

A year or so ago I bought some creeping thyme and some lemon thyme plants for my rockery.
The creeping thyme is still OK but the lemon time has all died back.

    Any ideas why?

    Thanks Jimmy

My lemon thyme always used to die over winter. Until I started keeping it in a pot and putting it in the tunnel over winter. They do seem to be more sensitive than normal thyme.

That’s not really helped has it

Possibly too wet. Mine grows at the base of an east facing house wall and the ground is always dry.

Mine has died over the winter in the past, so now I’m keeping it in the poly tunnel. But it’s a bit early to be dying off yet as the weather has not really been that cold.

Hmm, I know this thread is old, hut it's made me feel better about my lemon thyme dying between two normal and healthy thyme plants in the same soil...!
