Not an expert on sweetcorn. I only grow one variety - Lark. As I understand it you do not want different varieties to cross-pollinate. If they do you can end up with weird hybrids with none of the sweetness you want.

You can intercrop the corn plants with other crops if you want to save space.

Grow each variety in a block next to each other,there are early & late varieties so each plant would need to be within range of pollen. Supersweet varieties are supposed to be grown in isolation from traditional varieties or they lose their sweetness,or you could sow them a couple of weeks later so they don�t pollinate at the same time.

Wonderful, I was under the assumption the cross pollination would only be a problem when it comes to seed collection, but I intend on eating and storing.
Last Time i grew it it was in full sun and with Pumpkin planted throughout the growth.
It seems I can grow quick frops like radish and leaves. Thank you

I've grown a mixed seedpack this year and they've all come Ok. I also underplanted with squash and will do again next year as both crops seem to have done well. I've also read that the coarse squash foliage can deter squirrels from tucking into your corn and mine are untouched by squirrels although I've a couple of cobs where small woodlice seem to be having a go at the very tip, always something
