    Lol, probably boyed up by the lovely weather but is it foolhardy to plant up a few ferrari or Rocquencourt beans in a pot this late?

    I think it would be very unlikely you will get a crop...you would need to have very warm weather in November?!
    Also nights draw in so not enough daylight hours.

      Well the November weather is anyone’s guess but as you say, daylight hours... I suppose I only have half a dozen seeds to lose as a whacky experiment

        What's DFBs
        it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

            I planted some about a month ago and I was wondering if that was too late! Will be interesting to see if you get anything from them.

              How about leaving the pot outside during the day and inside at night?
              I think (not sure) they stop growing below a certain nighttime temperature?... which is why they are always later than runner beans?
