I am after a jars for pickles.I used all I have saved from supermarkets.Kilner are far too expensive.

I "think" someone on here used to buy the cheapest curry sauce from the supermarket, throw the sauce away and keep the jars. -

Don't suppose there are any shops near you like the Unicorn in Chorlton? That has a box at the back of the store that people can leave/take empty jars from (sometimes it is empty though).
If it is pickled onions, you could use plastic milk bottles temporarily perhaps while you acquire some.Comment
