  • Where to buy jars?

    I am after a jars for pickles.I used all I have saved from supermarkets.Kilner are far too expensive.

    Ask on one of the Free sites?
    I "think" someone on here used to buy the cheapest curry sauce from the supermarket, throw the sauce away and keep the jars.

      Yea I post on freegles but no reply here. Buying a cheap curry sauce or anything cheap in jar is on my list.Thank you

              Don't suppose there are any shops near you like the Unicorn in Chorlton? That has a box at the back of the store that people can leave/take empty jars from (sometimes it is empty though).
              If it is pickled onions, you could use plastic milk bottles temporarily perhaps while you acquire some.

                Cheapest I can find this year are ASDA's smart price jam/marmalade or curry sauce are all 28p per jar
