  • Wot to do with unripe grapes?

    Basically, as the title says!

The grape vine on our shed has been very prolific, there must be somewhere in the region of 50 or so bunches of grapes, all over 1lb or so in weight, and although they have gotten bigger over the summer, the lack of sunshine has meant that they arent yet ripe, and I dont think they will ripen before the first frosts!

    So, anyone any suggestions?
    Blessings

If the grapes don't fall off the vine beforehand, there is no need to worry about 'first frost' for winemaking. There are wines made in Germany from grapes left on the vine until after at least one frost, and apparently the freezing improves the flavour and increases the sugar content. Just from memory of what I have read.
