  • Preserving pineapple

My Stepdaughter brought me 4 pineapples that were going cheap and I want to bottle them. I would have just brought the chunks to a boil in some syrup and put them in hot jars like making jam but from what I'm reading via google, these should be processed in a hot water bath for 15mins.

    How would you do it?

it's not the answer you want, but I'd rather make a cake or something, and freeze that, than go to the effort of jam/canning

I really wanted to can the chunks and have them with homemade yogurt spooned over..... i'm making myself hungry thinking about it lol.

          What about dehydrating the chunks?

            Or, just freezing it?

I like Pineapple much and mostly store it for long term use. I buy quality Pineapples from authentic markets.
