  • keeping squash seeds

morning, i have recently purhcased a dehydrator (its great by the way) and i thought that i'd dry some squash seeds in there for storing to be sown in the spring, my question is, is this ok? or should i dry them the more traditional way? does using the dehydrator to dry them cause them harm in any way because to be frank it done the job in no time at all.

if there is no reason why i shouldnt dry them this way then would that be the same for beans and other seeds i want to keep?

I really don't know if it would harm your seeds or not. How many pumpkin seeds were you thinking about drying? If it was only a few I would dry them the old fashioned way, experiment try a few in your dehydrator and some on a windowsill.
