  • Chutney question

Is there any reason why I can't add a load of chillis to my standard apple chutney recipe?

I have a fabulous chilli chutney recipe (see my thread on Evil Chilli chutney) and it's selling like hot cakes. But - it uses WAY too many chillis and I've got TONNES of apples.

    What do you reckon??
    Cheers

Why not? You could make some apple chutney and try adding some, then more, then even more and see how the taste is and whether medium, hot or hotter is best!

I always put chillies in a chutney. Then I put chilies in a curry. Then I put chutney in the curry. Then I put curry spices in the curry. Then I lie down under the cold water tap for an hour after tea!
